• Be at least 13 years of age (or 18 for author accounts)

2. Account Responsibilities

Account Registration

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• One account per person; no account sharing

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or pose security risks. You may close your account at any time from your settings.

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Copyright Violations: Upload, share, or distribute copyrighted material without permission
• Plagiarism: Claim others' work as your own
• Harassment: Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or authors
• Hate Speech: Post discriminatory, hateful, or violent content
• Spam: Send unsolicited messages or promotional content
• Hacking: Attempt to breach security or access unauthorized areas
• Fraud: Engage in fraudulent activities or payment manipulation
• Bots: Use automated systems without authorization
• Impersonation: Pretend to be another person or entity
• Piracy: Download, distribute, or sell content illegally

4. Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain all ownership rights to content you create
• You grant Peakovels a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content
• You warrant that you own or have rights to all content you publish
• You are responsible for your content and any consequences of publishing it

Peakovels' Content

• The platform, design, logo, and software are owned by Peakovels Inc.
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our platform
• All trademarks and service marks are property of their owners

5. Payment Terms

For Readers

• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
• Purchased coins or content are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

For Authors

• Revenue share: Authors receive 70% of net revenue
• Payments processed monthly with minimum threshold of $50
• Authors responsible for applicable taxes
• Must provide valid payment information for withdrawals
• Detailed earnings reports available in author dashboard

6. Content Moderation

Peakovels reserves the right to:

• Review and moderate all content
• Remove content that violates our policies
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required

We strive to be fair and transparent in our moderation. Appeals can be submitted to appeals@peakime.com

7. Disclaimers & Limitations

Service "As Is"

Peakovels is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Security against unauthorized access
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peakovels Inc. (operating Peakovels) shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• User-generated content or third-party actions

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Peakovels Inc. (operating Peakovels) harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your content or conduct
• Violation of these terms
• Infringement of any third-party rights

9. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, please contact us at legal@peakime.com to resolve the issue informally.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be settled through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will notify users of significant changes by:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on the platform
• Updated "Last Modified" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• By You: Close your account at any time from settings
• By Us: For violations, abuse, or at our discretion with notice

Upon termination, your right to use Peakovels ceases immediately. Content may be retained according to our Privacy Policy. Your data will be handled with utmost care during the termination process.

12. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Peakovels Inc. (operating Peakovels)
• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remains enforceable
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign these terms without our consent
• Governing Law: These terms are governed by applicable laws
