Creator & Contributor Agreement
Framework for Creators and Contributors
Simple version: Creators stay independent owners of their stories. Uploading gives Peakovels permission to show and promote the story, but not to make anime/comics without a separate contract. You can earn from Support and also from performance-based programmes if your story does well.
2.1 Status of Creators & Contributors
Creators (writers, authors, illustrators, designers) and Contributors (collaborators, co-writers, etc.) using Peakovels are independent individuals or entities.
2.2 Onboarding & Account Requirements
To publish or receive payouts, Creators must:
Underage creators (if allowed) may require parent/guardian consent for formal contracts and payouts; Legal guardian as the payee in accordance with local law.
2.3 Content Submission & Baseline License
By uploading or submitting any Work (novel, chapter, art, character sheets, etc.), the Creator:
This baseline license does not transfer copyright to the Company and does not grant adaptation rights (e.g., comics, anime, merch) unless a separate Adaptation / Licensing Agreement is signed for that specific Work.
2.4 Creator Warranties & Responsibilities
Creators warrant that:
The Company may remove, suspend, or terminate accounts and withhold earnings associated with fraudulent or unlawful content, subject to law.
2.5 Performance-Based Payments (Non-Support)
In addition to Support earnings, the Company may offer Creator payouts based on performance programmes and FANOA selection.
Performance metrics may include, in combination:
Performance-based payouts are discretionary, based on available budgets and programme rules; Do not create guaranteed minimum earnings unless clearly specified in a separate contract (e.g., MG agreement); Are separate from Support Contributions.
