Revenue Share & Payout Policy

How creators earn and receive payments

Simple version: You can earn from different sources, not just Support. We pay you regularly, show you breakdowns, and use real KYC + tax compliance like a serious company.

3.1 Revenue Streams Covered

This policy applies to:

Support Contributions
Paid chapter unlocks / subscriptions (once implemented)
Ad revenue directly tied to content
Licensing & distribution revenue from adaptations
Merchandising and IP-based spin-offs where the Creator's Work is central

3.2 Support Distribution (Restated)

For Support Contributions, the Creator receives 50% of Net Support linked to their Work, as defined in Section 1.3.

3.3 Paid Content / Unlocks / Subscriptions

For any paid content models (unlocking chapters, premium arcs, subscription tiers), the Company will:

Deduct payment gateway fees, taxes, platform costs;
Share a fixed percentage of net content revenue with the Creator (for example, 50–70% – to be defined in the programme terms).

Details will be specified in per-programme policies or Creator Agreements.

3.4 Adaptations, Print, and Licensing

When a Work is adapted into:

Manhua / Webtoon / Comic
Print editions
Anime / film / series
Merchandising (figures, posters, etc.)

A dedicated Adaptation & Licensing Agreement will define royalty splits, MGs, and other financial terms. The Creator will receive revenue share based on agreed percentages and reporting schedules.

3.5 Payout Mechanics & KYC

Payouts will generally follow:

Cycle:
Monthly or as otherwise specified
Minimum Threshold:
A minimum amount (e.g., ₹1,000 INR or equivalent) must be reached before disbursement
Methods:
UPI, bank transfer, or international methods (PayPal, SWIFT, etc.) where compliant
Creators must complete KYC verification (name, ID, bank details, tax ID) before receiving payouts.
The Company may be required to deduct TDS or other withholding taxes, and Creators are responsible for complying with their personal tax obligations.

3.6 Reporting & Transparency

The Platform will provide Creators with access to:

Earnings dashboards or statements;
A breakdown by source (Support, unlocks, bonuses, adaptation, etc.), as available;
Deductions (fees, taxes, adjustments).

Creators may raise queries or disputes regarding payout reports within a specified period (e.g., 30–60 days) from statement availability.
