The Company enforces a strict anti-piracy stance. Uploading stolen or infringing content is prohibited and may lead to termination and legal action.
We implement strict measures to prevent copyright infringement, including:
- Automated content scanning for duplicate or unauthorized content
- Manual review of all submitted works before publication
- Active monitoring for copyright violations
- Immediate takedown procedures for confirmed infringements
- Education and awareness programs for creators
4.2 Notification Procedure
Copyright owners who believe their content has been used without authorisation on Peakovels may send a written notice to the designated email (e.g., legal@peakime.com) including:
- Identification of the infringing content (URL, screenshot, description)
- Evidence or declaration of ownership
- Contact details
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised
The Company will:
- Temporarily restrict access to the disputed content
- Notify the uploader
- Review counter-claims if provided
- Remove the content permanently if infringement is confirmed
Counter-Notification Process
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake, you may file a counter-notification.
A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the removed content and its location
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was mistaken
- Consent to jurisdiction and service of process
- Your physical or electronic signature
Consequences of Violations
Peakovels takes copyright violations seriously. Actions taken may include:
- Immediate removal of infringing content
- Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts
- Prohibition from creating new accounts
- Potential legal action in cooperation with rights holders
- Reporting to relevant authorities when required by law
4.3 Repeat Infringers
Users or Creators repeatedly flagged for confirmed infringement may have:
- Their accounts permanently banned
- Future access blocked
- Pending payouts related to infringing content withheld, subject to law
